BAM! KAPLOW!

Hero or villain, at least you're still super.

Ever wanted to duke it out in the Marvel Universe? Now you can, in Marvel's Contest of Champions! While working at AKQA, I was responsible for the UX and motion docs for the promotional site.

CONCEPT & ROLE

The client wanted the promo site to reflect a comic book look and feel.
I was responsible for the wireframes and architecture, under the ACD's direction.
A back-and-forth with the visual designer on the project created the final product.

MOTION TESTING

As UX reached its final stages, the ACD wondered how the interactions would look.
I created tests to visualize the site's interactivity, using the visual designer's assets.
The resulting animations combine comic pop-up and modern parallax ideals.
